Our injectors includes a trim code file updated to the specific remanufactured injector being supplied. To get the maximum benefit from this premium injector, you MUST upload the trim code file to the ECM when you install this remanufactured injector. Failure to do so may result in poor engine performance, rough idle, poor fuel economy and increased emissions. Depending on the part number, either a new unique trim code file will be provided with the injector on a USB, or a trim code will be laser etched on the injector. To ensure proper engine performance, the new unique trim code.

Precautions When Installing Replacement Injectors:

  • Before installing replacement injectors, it is good practice to confirm the root cause of the failure.
  • If the failure can be attributed to a contaminated system or poor fuel handling, the condition must be corrected and the system flushed before installing and running the replacement injector(s).
  • Do not remove the injector from its protective packaging until you are ready to install. This will reduce the likelihood of contamination or external damage.
  • The fuel system should be primed before starting the engine.
  • Deviating from these recommendations could result in premature failure of the replacement injector(s).
